The new work is is an abstraction of an overcast day and low tide at Hunmanby Gap beach, East Yorkshire taken from a sketch I did when we visited the coast during February of this year.
Within this I have used modelling paste with a handful of Hunmanby sand mixed into the paint to achieve a textured surface to the overall piece.
